The first-ever theatre production in London’s new City Hall, Rikki Beadle-Blair's new play, 'Hello London!' drew Londoners from over 20 boroughs to Newham for an evening of laughter and community in London’s Living Room.
Proud instigator of the event, Green Party London Assembly Member Zack Polanski said: “These 33 actors, representing the 33 boroughs, truly put community at the heart of London’s collective story, giving us a show as vibrant, diverse & as beautiful as the city itself.
“People think of City Hall, if they think of it at all, as an office building. But really, City Hall should be a space for everyone in this city, where everything from the usual conferences to extraordinary performances can find a home.
“I’m hopeful the Mayor recognises the success of 'Hello London!' and will bring more arts and culture into the heart of our local government."
